Mainstream Children in Care
At Tender Healthcare Services, we are dedicated to supporting children and young people who are in the care of the State due to challenges within their home environments. These are children who may have experienced neglect, abuse, family breakdown, or other safeguarding concerns, and who now require safe, consistent, and compassionate care.

Who Are Mainstream Children in Care?
Mainstream children in care are Irish nationals or residents who have entered the care system through: Voluntary agreements with parents or guardians Interim or full care orders issued by the courts. These children are placed in settings such as: Foster care Residential care homes Relative/kinship care Our role is to provide them with the support, stability, and opportunities they need to thrive emotionally, physically, and socially.
